Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average mathematics learning outcomes of students using the project based learning model and those using conventional learning models in class XI Odd Semester SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is an experimental study with a population of all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung with research samples namely class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. The sample was taken using a total sampling technique. The test is given in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions. From hypothesis testing using t-test, t_hit=4,23 was obtained. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that diketahui t_daf=t_((1-α))=1,67, meaning that t_hit>t_daf is 4,23>1,67, so it can be concluded "there is an effect of project based learning on Mathematics learning outcomes of students of class XI Odd Semester of SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year”.
