This study aims to improve mathematical problem-solving skills with the Problem Posing model in class VIII-I SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung, with research problems that are not yet optimal mathematical problem-solving abilities. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between teachers and researchers in 2 cycles consisting of 3 meetings and at the end of each cycle students are given a test in the form of an essay with 5 questions to determine students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-I SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung, totaling 30 students. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Posing model is able to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities. The increase can be seen from the results of the first cycle with a completeness percentage of 53.33% with an average value of 71.6 then in the second cycle it increases to 76.67% with an average of 75.23 which means that it has reached the predetermined CAR success indicator. which is 75%.
