Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) method to improve science learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Ganjaran and to increase science learning outcomes through the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) method to fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Reward. The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Ganjaran as many as 24 students. The research design used is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which contains the stages of planning, implementing actions and observations, and reflection. The data collection instruments used were test questions to measure science learning outcomes and observation sheets to measure science learning activities. The type of data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis in this study, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) Think pair share (TPS) learning model can improve science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Ganjaran in the 2022/2023 academic year. 2) Increasing students' science learning outcomes by applying the think pair share (TPS) learning model from the first cycle with an average of 68.75 to the second cycle with an average of 78.75. Thus there is an increase of 10%.
