PENGENALAN PENDIDIKAN SEKS PADA SISWA SD SEBAGAI ANTISIPASI DINI MENYEBARNYA KEKERASAN SEKSUAL DI SDN 2 PURWA AGUNG

Abstract

The case of a phenomenon in society today is sexual violence that mostly affects elementary school students. surveys and research in Indonesia proves the high number of cases of sexual crimes against children, the number of minors can access pornographic sites, the lack of supervision from the family, and the lack of explanations about sex. The rise of cases of sexual harassment and violence among the community has made us aware of the importance of developing sex education materials for early childhood and child reproductive health. The number of cases of sexual violence that occurred in Indonesia in recent years. Lack of government efforts to reduce cases of sexual violence so that similar cases continue to occur. The perpetrators of sexual violence are not only Indonesian citizens, many of the perpetrators are foreign nationals. There are still many parents in tourist areas who think that trafficking in children is only an ordinary commercial activity. In this study, the author uses qualitative descriptive research or a content analysis approach. A study should use appropriate methods for research with the objectives to be obtained by the author. Research method is a method used to collect data needed in research. In determining which method to use, the writer must be careful so that the method will be appropriate and appropriate so as to get results with truth that can be used. So the method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Student understanding at SDN Purwaagung about sex education material from the results obtained what researchers have found shows that the fifth graders at the school already know about sex education materials. That is, they already know the seven sex education materials that have been tested. Based on the results of the study, several conclusions were obtained, namely: Fourth grade children of SDN 2 Purwa Agung More than 60% of them have known sex education material, meaning that their knowledge provision is sufficient to be given sex education. There is no need to worry for teachers at the school to teach sex knowledge to children frankly.
