KEMAMPUAN SISWA MENGANALISIS TEKS ANEKDOT PADA SISWA KELAS X SEMESTER GENAP SMAN 2 TULANG BAWANG TENGAH TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the ability of class X students in even semester of SMAN 2 Tulang Bawang Tengah academic year 2018/2019 in analyzing anecdotal texts. The anecdotal text analyzed by students is focused on abstraction, orientation, crisis, reaction and code. The problem was raised because of the weakness of students in analyzing anecdotal texts. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data source of this study is all students of the odd semester X class of Middle School 2 Tulang Bawang Tengah 2018/2019 school year which amounts to 164 with core subjects as many as 1 class. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis. The results showed that the ability of class X students in analyzing anecdotal texts in the category was sufficient because the average score was 60. In each aspect, among others: sufficient ability on the abstraction aspect because the average score of 74 and orientation aspects reached a less category because of the average score average 44. In the crisis aspect the average score is 61 in sufficient categories and in the reaction aspect reaches the less category because the average score is 51 and in the coding aspect it achieves an average score of 69 in the sufficient category.
