Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out and describe whether there is a significant influence on students' reading comprehension through Listening - Reading – Discussion (LRD) strategies. This research used the quantitative with quasi-experiment design method. The object in this research was the eleventh grade, the total population all of students were 84 students. The research was use t-test to test the hypothesis. From the data analysis computed by using Ttest obtained: ttest = 4.55, ttable for α = 0.05 was 1.67 and for α = 0.01 was 2.39 (4.55 > 1.67 < 2.39). Therefore, Hα was accepted, it means that there was an influence of Listen-Read-Discuss (LRD) strategy towards students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMAN 1 Meraksa Aji in 2022/2023.
