UPAYA MENGATASI KESULITAN BELAJAR MELALUI LAYANAN INFORMASI DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSELING KELOMPOK PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 13 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

Abstract

The problem of learning difficulties is often experienced by every individual. Likewise for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung who have problems with learning difficulties which are characterized by several phenomena such as slow in understanding lessons, lack of response to the material provided, and requires a long time to understand the subject matter.

This research method is using action research or PTBK. This study focused on five students who had learning difficulties. determination of the subject using purposive sampling technique. While the data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive method.

After the researchers conducted group counseling activities for the five students, the data on the progress of the students were obtained for alleviating the problems of learning difficulties they were experiencing. This increase occurred through observing the difference between the initial conditions before students participated in activities and when students participated in activities. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the application of information services through group guidance activities can help students overcome the problem of learning difficulties.
