EFEKTIVITAS LAYANAN KONSELING KELOMPOK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA MELALUI PENDEKATAN REBT PADA SISWA KELAS X DI SMA YP UNILA BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Self-confidence in learning is a positive attitude possessed by an individual who gets used to and shows himself to develop positive assessments both towards himself and others, the environment, and the situation at hand to achieve what he wants in achieving mastery of science. The phenomenon that exists in students of class X science at SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung shows that there are students who have low learning confidence. Alternative assistance that can be given to help increase students' learning confidence is to use REBT counseling. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services in increasing students' self-confidence through the REBT approach in class X IPA SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment with the research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were students of class X IPA at SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung who had low learning confidence. The sample selection is done through the distribution of self-confidence questionnaires that have been declared valid and reliable. There are 12 students who have low learning confidence category. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is an increase in students' learning confidence after carrying out group counseling with tcount 17,847 at degrees of freedom (df) 18 then compared with ttable 0.05 = 2.175, then tcount ttable (17.847≥ 2.175), the sign value. (2-tailed) is smaller than the critical value of 0.005 (0.000 0.005). So it can be concluded that group counseling is effective in increasing the learning confidence of class X science students at SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung in the 2022/2023 academic year.
