FAKTOR-FAKTOR RENDAHNYA MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XII DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (Studi Deskriptif Di SMA Bina Mulya Bandar Lampung)

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the low learning motivation of class XII students during the Covid-19 pandemic (Descriptive Study at SMA Bina Mulya Bandar Lampung. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subject of this research is students class XII at SMA Bina Mulya Bandar Lampung. The collection of methods in this study used the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using a source triangulation technique, namely counseling teachers, students and parents and guardians of students. The data were analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques the model includes steps for data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study describe the factors of low learning motivation of class XII students during the COVID-19 pandemic, which include: (1) Desire and desire to succeed; (2) Encouragement learning needs; (3) Expectations of ideals; (4) L conducive learning environment; and (5) interesting learning activities. The reasons for the low motivation to learn in this research subject are: (1) Unpreparedness in the online learning process makes students burdened and also too heavy in learning; (2) a less conducive learning environment causes students to have difficulty concentrating on studying and doing their assignments because of external factors that do not support and make students' motivation to learn less; and (3) The learning media used by the teacher does not make students interested in participating in learning which makes students bored in participating in online learning.
