PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK PADA MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH MATERI MASA PRA-AKSARA DI INDONESIA UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 BANYUMAS

Learning media has an important role in facilitating the understanding of material for students. This study aims to develop pop up-book-based learning media in history subjects, especially in the Pre-Script Period material in Indonesia, for grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Banyumas. The media development method uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with stages of needs analysis, design, development, trial, and evaluation. The research was carried out through several stages, including material identification, pop up-book design, production, as well as evaluation by experts and field trials. The results of the study obtained a percentage assessment of media expert validation was 93% with the criteria of "very feasible", the validation of material experts was 88% with the criteria of "very feasible" and the validation of linguists obtained 83% with the criteria of "Very feasible", the response of educators obtained a percentage of assessment of 92% with the criteria of "Samgat interesting", the response of students among them, the results of small group trials obtained a percentage of assessment 87% with the criteria "Very interesting" and the results The field test obtained an assessment percentage of 97% with the criteria "Very interesting". So, it can be concluded that the history Pop-up Book developed is very feasible and very interesting to be used as a medium for learning history in class X.
