Abstract

This research aims to improve the history learning outcomes of class X Accounting 2 students, carrying out the learning process in class by implementing card sort type active learning. The research method used in the preparation was (PTK) Classroom action research and the research procedure was carried out in 2 cycles. In this activity there are 4 stages of activity, namely: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, 3) Observation, 4) and Reflection. The success of this research can be seen from the increase in student learning activities and teacher performance as well as learning outcomes. The results of this research show that the use of the card sort type active learning model in history subjects for class X students at Taman Siswa Teluk Betung Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from data on student learning outcomes and teacher performance. Based on data on student learning outcomes, the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I was 47.6% with an average value of 58.42, and in cycle II it was 85.9 with an average value of 81. Data from observations of teacher activities in the cycle I got a score of 21 with a percentage of 75% and in cycle II got a score of 28 with a percentage of 80%. Data from student observations in cycle I obtained a score of 18 with a percentage of 64.2% and in cycle II obtained a score of 26 with a percentage of 92.8%. From the data above, it can be concluded that the application of the card sort type of active learning model has proven to have improved the history learning outcomes of class X students at Taman Siswa Teluk Be-tung Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year.
