The issues addressed in this research are: 1) the low learning outcomes in history subjects, 2) students' lack of activity in participating in history lessons, and 3) the teaching models used by teachers being insufficiently varied and diverse. The objective of this research is to determine the improvement in history learning outcomes using the Index Card Match learning method for students in Class XII IIS I at MA Sinar Harapan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between the researcher and the subject teacher. The subjects of this research are the 28 students in Class XII IIS I at MA Sinar Harapan. The action research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings involving four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this research are test sheets and observation sheets. Based on the research results, student activity in Cycle I showed a percentage of 64.29%, which falls into the sufficient category, and Cycle II showed an increase with a percentage of 85.71% in the very good category. This research also indicates an improvement in students' history learning outcomes. The increase in students' learning outcomes can be seen from the rise in the completeness of students' learning results. In Cycle I, the learning completeness was 57.14%, while in Cycle II, there was a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, achieving 85.71% completeness. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that learning using the Index Card Match method can enhance students' learning outcomes on the topic of the Role of Students, College Students, and Youth in the Changes of the Indonesian State Administration for Class XII IIS I at MA Sinar Harapan.
