PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBING PROMPTING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SEJARAH PADA MATERI REVOLUSI MENEGAKKAN PANJI-PANJI NKRI SISWA KELAS XI IPS

This research is motivated by the lack of maximum student learning outcomes, the low understanding of students in absorbing material and the teacher-centered learning process. The author uses the probing prompting learning model in this study, which is expected to improve the history of students in class XI IPS 5 at SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 school year. This type of research uses classroom action research (CAR) or classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles which includes: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection which is carried out using the probing prompting learning model in the history learning process. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung, totaling 31 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased during the implementation of learning using the probing prompting learning model. In the pre-cycle the percentage of learning completeness was 48.39%, the first cycle was 67.74% and the second cycle was 87.10%. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the application of the probing prompting learning model can improve the history learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS 5 SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung.
