Abstract

: The main problem in this research is the lack of activity and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes of history using the double loop problem solving (DLPS) learning model in the even semester X AKL students of SMK Tamansiswa Teluk Betung. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, written tests and documentation. From the results of the study (1) the teacher's activity in the first cycle reached 76% and the second cycle reached 90%. (2) The activity of the first cycle students reached 66% and the second cycle reached 88%. And (3) student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle obtained learning completeness of 41.67%, in the first cycle obtained learning completeness of 66.67% and in the second cycle obtained learning completeness of 83.33%. From these results, it can be concluded that learning by applying the double loop problem solving (DLPS) model can improve the history learning outcomes of class X AKL students at SMK Tamansiswa Teluk Betung.
