Abstract

This research is based on the background of low student learning outcomes, the activities of some students who are less active in the learning process, students still have difficulty receiving learning. To improve learning outcomes, teachers can apply the Snowball Throwing learning model with Flash Card media with the teacher's Flash Card media by adding material to students. This study aims to determine the increase in the results of class X MAS AL ISLAM BUNUT learning history by using the Snowball Throwing learning model with Flash Card media in class X MAS AL ISLAM BUNUT in the academic year 2022/2023. This research includes Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out collaboratively. The subjects in this study were students of class X MAS AL ISLAM BUNUT which opened 36 students. Action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings consisting of 4 stages, implementation, observation and reflection. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, written tests and documentation. The data from the results of this study with the application of the Sowball Throwing learning model with Flash Card media, the teacher's activities in the learning process using the Snowball Throwing learning model with Flash Card media in the first cycle and second cycle experienced an increase where in the first cycle it reached 78% and the second cycle reached 88 % then student activity in the learning process using the application model of Snowball Throwing learning with Flash Card media has increased where in the first cycle it reaches 75% and the second cycle reaches 85%. While the student learning outcomes after the implementation of the Snowball Trowing learning model with Flash Card media experienced an increase in the pre-cycle 33.33% then the first cycle with a percentage of 61.11% and in the second cycle 86.11%. It can be said that the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model with Flash Card media can increase the activity and learning outcomes of history class X MAS AL ISLAM BUNUT students in the 2022/2023 school year.
