PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS PADA SISWA KELAS VIIIA SEMESTER GANJIL SMP NEGERI 10 BANDAR LAMPUNG

The main problem in this research is the low achievement of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of social studies learning outcomes by applying the mind mapping learning model to class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were class VIIIA students, totaling 25 students. Indicators of success in this study if the percentage of mastery learning reaches 80%. The results showed that the application of the mind mapping learning model could improve students' social studies learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of completeness was 48%, in the first cycle it was 72% and in the second cycle it was 84%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the use of mind mapping learning models can improve social studies learning outcomes for class VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung.
